Talks that make the right people uncomfortable.

Three leadership talks for organizations across Latin America. They're not motivational: each one names a comfortable belief, breaks it, and leaves the team with something they can apply on Monday.

Nobody resists change. They resist loss.

When an organization says its people are resistant, it's almost always describing the problem wrong. Nobody resists change in the abstract. What people are defending is what they're losing: status, certainty, competence, autonomy, or a place they'd earned.

And if the leader can't name what each person is losing, they won't be able to support them through it — no matter how many memos they send. This talk was built alongside teams in the middle of real transformations: system changes, restructurings, mergers.

What they walk away with

  • A map to identify what stage of the curve each person on the team is in, and why treating them all the same doesn't work.
  • The five things the brain reads as a threat during organizational change.
  • What to do about the leader who says they're fine while their team says otherwise.
Format · keynote, moderated, fireside, or interactive Duration · up to 90 min with Q&A Best for · companies in transformation, mergers, project kickoffs

The boss who answers trains people not to think.

Every time someone on your team brings you a problem and you hand them the solution, three things happen. You solved today's problem. You taught them to come ask you for the answer next time. And you told them, without meaning to, that you don't trust them to think it through on their own.

Giving the answer feels like leadership. It's almost always the opposite: it's doing someone else's thinking for them. This is the most uncomfortable talk for leaders who got their role because they were the ones who knew how to solve things — and it doesn't ask them to stop deciding, just to tell the difference between when they're solving and when they're training dependency.

What they walk away with

  • How to tell an urgency conversation apart from a development one, and why treating them the same gets expensive.
  • Three questions that replace a piece of advice.
  • Why the busiest leader on the team is usually the one who built the least capacity.
Format · keynote, moderated, fireside, or interactive Duration · up to 90 min with Q&A Best for · middle managers and directors, leadership programs

The postponed conversation isn't free. Someone is already paying for it.

Everyone in the room has one. They know exactly what it is, who it's with, and that they've been putting it off.

What almost no one calculates is the price. It's paid in team energy, in redone work, in the person who quit without anyone knowing why, and in the credibility of the leader everyone watched look the other way. This talk works through why we postpone them — the emotional cost always feels more real than the operational one — and delivers a concrete structure for having them without turning into a judgment.

What they walk away with

  • A simple model for giving feedback about behaviors, not people.
  • How to open the conversation in the first thirty seconds, which is where everything gets decided.
  • What to do when the other person shuts down or breaks down.
Format · keynote, moderated, fireside, or interactive Duration · up to 90 min with Q&A Best for · middle managers, sales teams, organizations with high turnover
